“Wise men have interpreted dreams…” I drift back to the pictures on the wall. Except that one in the corner with the guy dissecting a child in front of a woman who seems to have lost her chill… a little dark, even for the humans of the time period. This is the best room with the best carvings and the best people. I look around the room, covered in exquisite carvings from the late second age. Gull’s deep voice suddenly brings me back- “I think it is kind of cool… after all they could have just… TRHONE IT OUT." The four of us collapse back onto one another in our love pile of porcine goodness, and if I didn’t know better I would swear even Lorien is indulging in the snuggles. I relax as I examine them with a bit of distance, and contentment washes over me as I imagine us in the various paintings, together. Rolling hills, scattered clouds above, like the screen savers in the Dwarven control rooms. It is running away, tail like a white burst of flame. I notice a group of paintings a ways off from the table. ![]() “Huh… That was un-chair-acteristic.” “Guess who was ever in it stopped giving a sit.” “What do they think this place is, a chair-ity?” Our bellies start to hurt from our laughter. What the f*** was that guy’s problem? We giggled, muddying our face with gravy, taking turns imitating the elemental’s horrified face… and maybe even licking a bit of it off one another in a totally just friends way.Ī chair suddenly sails through the air and into the middle of the room. Definitely not with that silly earth elemental who popped in for a bite and left with a scream. If it were with anyone other than this crew I wouldn’t have been keen to share. I didn’t know I was hungry until I came out of a daze, devouring it like a bird of prey ( NOT AN OWL) knowing I could be disrupted at any moment. This was so, so much better, no hedonistic adaptation even, each bite better than the last. The meal you fantasized about eating once you finally could get your hands on food again. Nothing could ever come between us that wasn’t another mouthful of that delicious pig.Īnd that pig, or… whatever the locals call it, I’m pretty sure it was pig. It felt like we always would be, smiling, laughing, stuffing our faces with suckling pig. Lorien’s beautiful smile, shining radiantly behind just the right amount of blood to bring out her eyes. Rizzo’s soft, recently groomed fur (smelling like a local oil they use in the underground that smells they what were singing about in Shoop with a dash of sandalwood). Gull’s incredibly fast hands, sweet face boyish face. I beamed as I took the time to study them. Somehow we skipped out on a fight I’m pretty sure we were about to win straight into a meal among friends. The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the gnomish mind to correlate all its contents. Look forward to The Call Girls of Cthulu or Ratfolks in the Walls.) The exit to the maze also appeared, along with Jake.(Note: I’m going to break this one up between 30/31 since I have two days to cover. ![]() Once she changed it, the room disappeared, and confetti rained from the sky. This window of time contained the moment that Betty had to change, because it was the moment before she met Simon. At first it appeared to just be a while room, but after further inspection, there appeared to be a window in time. Part Three of the maze was found when Finn smashed through the chalkboard while trying to take care of the Ice Thing. When Betty tried to correct them, the Ice Thing undid her corrections. On the chalkboard that is outside of the ice, there is an equation full of errors. Inside of the ice, and outside, there are chalkboards and books with gigantic math equations written on them. Part two rests at the end of the path of part one. Part one of the mind maze consists of what can be referred to as a pond filled with " Mind Frogs." In this part of the maze, you have to avoid eye contact with any of the frogs that appear on the side of the path, even though they look “interesting.” If you look at them, they will grow angry and jump at you.
